The activities planned by the 4th Grade Planning Committee are paid for, in part, by the annual Ben-Hem PTO budget and funds raised by the 4th Grade class. We have reduced our budget for this year, due to the pandemic and our inability to hold many of the traditional 4th Grade activities. We want to make sure, however, that we carry on with as many things as possible, including yearbooks and class t-shirts for all students, and add a few new traditions that will bring some much-needed fun to an unusual 4th Grade year. 2021 4th Grade Planning Budget Estimated Costs: $2,400 Yearbook $2,000 Class T-Shirts $4,000 4th Grade Fun Day* $1,000 Class Gift Estimated Contributions: $700 PTO Annual Fund Remaining Amount to Raise: $8,700 (approx. $75 per student) Instead of holding a number of different fundraisers, we are instead asking 4th Grade families to make a direct contribution to our class fund. The recommended donation is $75 per student (If you are able, please consider contributing a little extra, to help out families who are unable to give the full amount during these tough times.) Please contribute by March 5, 2021 by using the QR code, to the right, or go to Venmo and search for BenHemPTO. Please be sure to include "4th Grade Fund" in the transaction notes. Don't use Venmo? No problem. You can also send a check into the school made out to "Ben-Hem PTO" with "4th Grade Fund" in the memo portion. The PTO is on the lookout for your contributions and will ensure that they make it into the 4th Grade account. |
