Hello Ben-Hem Community:

The 2016 Family Fun Night is almost here - since this is a 1200+ person event, please take a minute to review the following important notes to ensure we all have a safe and fun night:

• From 4:00-5:00 we will be holding an Access Family Social (Mini Family Fun Night). During this time, the inflatables, etc. will only be available to children in the Access Program and their families who have pre-registered to attend.  Therefore, if your children are at the playground or Ben-Hem for any reason, please monitor them carefully and ensure they understand that this is NOT the full Family Fun Night for anyone to join in. 
  
  
• Last year there was a lot of confusion/mayhem when people showed up at 5:15/5:30. While we know you and your children are excited for the night, please DO NOT arrive before 6 PM (unless you’re volunteering early).  We need the time to ensure everything is set up safely, securely, and volunteers are in place.
  
  
• Family Fun Night is NOT a drop off event.  Parents are expected to attend, join in the fun, and watch their children. 
  
  
• If you have a question about WHERE/WHEN you are volunteering, please check and clarify this WHEN YOU ARRIVE.  There will be volunteer lists at the check in tables.  Also, please be sure you are at your assigned spot on time, to relieve the parent before you, who has already been there for his/her shift. They will love you for it!
  
  
• Like past years, we will not have tables & chairs for eating. Therefore, please consider bringing a blanket if you want to sit on something more than grass. 
  
  
• With this many people enjoying the festivities, parking will surely be a challenge. PLEASE consider carpooling with friends, walking, biking, or if you live near Ben-Hem offering your driveway to friends/family.
