2017-2018 Spirit Shirt Design Contest
Ben-Hem students can submit their design ideas for consideration as the next Spirit Shirt.
This year's contest submission deadline is FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2017.
CONTEST RULES
1. Get Creative:
- Draw your design on any 8.5 x 11 piece of white paper.
- Your design must somehow feature our school mascot - Benny the Bobcat.
- Make sure to color your drawing to impress the judges.
Entries will be judged based on the best SHIRT design idea, not drawing ability.
2. Submit Your Design by Sept. 29th:
- On the back of your design, write your Name (first and last), Grade, and Teacher's Name.
- Then, put your design in an envelope marked "PTO - Spirit Shirt Design" and give it to your teacher.
- You may also email entries to Linda Aber at LAber@benhempto.org
3. And the Winner Is:
- Design ideas will be voted on at the Oct. 3rd PTO Meeting and announced via Facebook, the Bobcat Bulletin, and during Morning Announcements at school.
-The winner's idea will be used to create the Spirit Shirt design which will be available for sale with other Spirit Wear offerings.
The contest winner will receive a FREE Spirit Shirt.
Last year's (2016-17) Spirit Shirt Winner and Participant Designs
We had many great designs and it was very difficult to choose the Spirit Shirt Design Winner.
A committee of 8 parents was assembled as a panel of judges to represent each grade level, designs were presented anonymously for a consensus vote. Judges were allowed to vote for 3 designs. The design with the most collaborative votes won. And the winner was... Allison Knapik (2nd grade), for her shirt design "We are all superheroes!" Congratulations, Allison!
